Account Deletion Request
Request deletion of your Carelins account and data.

Carelins is a solution/service designed and developed by Squincy Sdn Bhd. You can use this page to request deletion of your Carelins account and personal data associated with your use of Carelins.
How to request deletion
- 1 Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Carelins account deletion request".
- 2 Include the name and email address associated with your Carelins account, and the care organization you are connected with if applicable.
- 3 Tell us whether you want your account deleted only, or whether you are also requesting deletion of personal data connected to your use of Carelins.
- 4 We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and confirm that we are handling the correct account before completing the request.
Data we delete
Account profile information, such as your name, email address, role, and account access details.
Personal information you directly provided to Carelins, including support messages or account-related communications where deletion is legally and operationally permitted.
Carelins app data connected to your personal account, such as preferences, notifications, and non-required usage records.
Data we may keep
Records controlled by a care organization, such as resident care notes, family updates, staff activity, wellbeing information, or other care coordination records, may need to be handled through that organization.
Information needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, accounting, audit logs, or enforcement of agreements may be retained for as long as required or permitted by law.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through our normal backup cycle.
Timing and retention
We aim to acknowledge account deletion requests within 7 days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless more time is required for identity verification, legal reasons, security review, or coordination with the relevant care organization.
Data retained for legal, security, accounting, dispute, or audit purposes may be kept for the period required or permitted by applicable law. Backup copies are normally deleted or overwritten within 90 days.
